Ukrainian communication professionals made a significant impact on the international stage at the WCFA Global Awards 2026, securing over 15 awards across various categories. Among the standout winners was the Ukrainian communication agency Truman, which earned a bronze award in the Best Public Relations Campaign category for its initiative "Ukraine is Open for Business: Transforming Perceptions from War to Opportunity," executed in collaboration with APCO. Truman boasts a team of over 70 specialists skilled in strategic and crisis communications, media relations, creativity, social media marketing, and analytics. Their campaigns aim to address challenges faced by Ukrainian businesses while highlighting new opportunities for foreign companies in Ukraine. Truman's mission is to reshape Ukraine's image abroad, showcasing it as a land of investment and business potential beyond the lens of conflict. Their approach focuses on developing long-term strategies, effective crisis management, and maximizing opportunities. Other prominent Ukrainian participants also excelled at the awards. DTEK emerged as the most awarded company among Ukrainian entrants, clinching several accolades for its campaign "The Light Holds On Those Who..." This included gold awards for Best Social Media Campaign and Best Public Relations Campaign, as well as silver for Most Innovative Campaign and Partnership or Collaboration, and bronze for B2B Communications Campaign. Monobank received two gold awards for its "Lemon Hunt" campaign in the Best Digital Campaign and Best Gamification Strategy categories. Additionally, Ekaterina Spivakova from Kernel was honored with gold as the Best Leader in Public Relations and Communications. BECOME PR secured gold for Best AI-Enhanced Communications Strategy, while the Betking Foundation/King Group won gold for Best Sport or Entertainment Campaign. Farmak also had a successful night, taking gold for Employer Branding Campaign and silver for Best Internal Communications Campaign. Ajax Systems earned silver for Best Communications for Product Launch, and Sergey Bidenko from SEC Newgate Ukraine was recognized with silver in the PR Silver Star category. These achievements underline the growing presence of Ukrainian communication firms on the global stage, reflecting their ability to compete and succeed at international standards.
