Bentley has officially announced the name of its first all-electric vehicle, the Torcal. This SUV spans 5 meters in length and boasts an impressive range exceeding 480 kilometers.
In terms of aesthetics, the Torcal shares similarities with the Bentayga but is slightly more compact. A standout feature is its innovative grille, which replaces the traditional radiator with a solid panel adorned with illuminated crystals. The design includes a sloping roofline towards the back, a characteristic often found in electric vehicles that enhances aerodynamics and range. Additionally, the doors of the Torcal open automatically, and the interior showcases a curved central display along with physical buttons for essential functions.
"For 107 years, Bentleys have represented the pinnacle of automotive excellence. Our new Torcal establishes remarkable standards across all critical aspects and may indeed be the most thoughtfully designed vehicle in our legacy," stated Bentley's CEO Frank-Steffen Walliser.
The complete unveiling of the Torcal is set for September 23.
