In addition, subscribers of paid plans now have access to new automation features that enhance functionality. This update follows a previous change in June when OpenAI separated the task scheduling feature into its own section on the sidebar of the chatbot, thereby simplifying the tracking and editing of planned requests. Initially, this feature was limited to Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscribers, but now all users can manage their schedules without restrictions.
Moreover, all users can now share tasks with others, which facilitates collaboration and workflow management. Paid account holders can customize ChatGPT to trigger prompts based on events occurring in Gmail, Slack, and GitHub. OpenAI presents various use cases for scheduled tasks, such as setting alerts for upcoming trips or requesting notifications about new movies and series on favorite streaming services.
Recently, it was also announced that OpenAI would reinstate a five-hour limit on the use of Codex and ChatGPT Work for Plus users starting August 25.
