Anthropic has unveiled Claude Fable 5, marking the introduction of their first public Mythos-class model. The company asserts that this model is their most powerful to date, achieving new state-of-the-art results in various domains such as coding, visual tasks, scientific computations, document analysis, and reasoning in long contexts. The performance gap becomes increasingly pronounced with larger and more complex tasks compared to earlier models.
Some impressive feats include: • Stripe successfully transitioned a 50 million-line Ruby codebase within a single day. • Fable 5 is capable of reconstructing web applications simply from screenshots. • The model completed the game Pokémon FireRed using only visual input.
In conjunction with this release, Claude Mythos 5 has also been made available, but its access is restricted to selected cybersecurity and critical infrastructure organizations.
The pricing for the API is as follows: • $10 for every 1 million input tokens • $50 for every 1 million output tokens
These rates are included in the Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans until June 22. After this date, users will need to utilize usage credits.
